Community Programs
We are not just in the water — we are in the community.
At Evolutionary Aquatics, movement is just the beginning. From swim lessons to bike camps, gardening to kayaking, our programs are designed to reclaim space, restore joy, and build legacy. We engage with our neighbors through action, not just intention — meeting people where they are and inviting them into something deeper.
Little Sugar Creek Community Garden
We established Little Sugar Creek Garden to bring neighbors together to grow food, learn about sustainability, and build something lasting. We've created more than just a garden; Little Sugar Creek serves as a living classroom for wellness, culture, and connection.

Hot Chocolate Run
Each year, our team shows up to volunteer at Charlotte's Hot Chocolate 5K/15K. Community connection doesn't end when we step out of the pool. We believe true community membership means investing in the shared well-being of our neighbors.

Youth-in-Water
We provide culturally affirming swim instruction to youth at West Charlotte High School and partner with Black Kids Swim to champion young swimmers' journeys. We're doing more than teaching technique; we're building generational water confidence and helping youth reclaim their rightful place in aquatic spaces.
School Supply Drive
Every August, we gather to collect backpacks, notebooks, and school supplies for students in our community. We believe in investing in our future leaders and making sure every student starts the school year equipped for success.

Melanin in Motion Bike Camp for Kids
Our bike camp empowers Black children to ride with confidence, safety, and pride. We teach essential riding skills and nurture the freedom and joy that comes from confidently navigating on two wheels.
