Our Kayaking Program welcomes adults from all swim levels to explore the water in a new way—through paddlecraft. Whether you're new to kayaking or building fitness and confidence on the water, this program teaches everything from boat handling and safety to paddling technique and self-rescue. Under expert guidance, you’ll navigate flat or gentle waters with ease, learn rescue strategies, and gain the skills and equipment knowledge to paddle safely and comfortably in varied conditions.

Getting in and out safely from various platforms
Choosing and using the right kayak equipment
Safely moving and storing your kayak
Efficient strokes and core posture
Wet exit, re-entry, and self-rescue techniques
Handling capsizes, swamped kayaks, and towing
Planning, water hazard awareness, navigating currents
